Denmark - opening speech- conservation of animals
PRESERVE, CONSERVE, SUSTAIN, ENJOY with NATURE with this
moto the delegate of Denmark wants to provide a warm welcome to everyone here.
First let talk about the history,
Just
25 years ago, acidification caused by atmospheric Sulphur dioxide pollution
threatened the biological life in a number of Denmark’s clearwater lakes.
Today, Danish flora and fauna are no longer threatened by acidification, and
the health of Danish tree species has been improved. This all credit goes to
the continuous effort of Danish government for conservation of Flora and fauna.
Leave
the past and come in the present, hundreds of thousands and millions of animals
are coming in endangered list from past two decades. To control these kinds of
problems various kinds of facilities are provided to Danish citizens.
Denmark
believes that this world is not only for human but it is also for all the kinds
of flora and fauna. Thus, where countries have been failing to provide proper
laws for their citizens, Danish government has successful ratified the dog's
law which is the major step for conservation of endangered animals.
Taking
Internationally,
Denmark has signed and ratified CITES. Where,
in national level, too Denmark government is supporting NGO's and INGO's to
conserve. Danish government is running various plans and policies for the rehavigation
of various endangered animals. Danish government is providing special offers
for the citizens who helps the Danish government side scenically. Danish are
conducting various People are keeping various animals and birds but they are
forgetting that
The cages are for
prisoners Not
for the the birds and animals.
Countries
like North Korea, USA, South Korea, etc. are investing trillions of capitals
for the modern necular war but I want to request all the delegate, if they
could invest only one part of it for the rehabilitation of animals, they could
successfully conserve all those animals that are in high risk of extinction. Various
programs like Asian
Elephant Conservation, Seal Protection in South Africa, CITES,
etc. should be provided by all the country members.
You cannot spell challenge
without change.
THANK YOU.
